The article sequentially explores in detail the decimation of the classical Ising model within the context of the Dobrushin program of restoration of Gibbsiannes. After the specification of the Dobrushin-Lanford-Ruelle approach, which allows to describe a class of measures larger than the Gaussian one, the author goes to the 2D ferromagnetic Ising example. A global specification for the measures extending local specifications to an infinite set is considered in the first part, the second part concentrates on statistical mechanical (specification-dependent) variational principles (the second part of the Dobrushin program) and operates further with the relaxation of the convergence properties of the potential or of topological properties (weak and almost Gibbsianess, respectively).
