Several classical inequalities of mathematical analysis can be viewed as results about computing or estimating the \(\ell_p\)-norm of some operators. For instance, Hardy's inequality translates into an estimate of the \(\ell_p\)-norm of the Cesàro matrix operator. The aim of this paper is to present several estimates for the \(\ell_p\)-norm of some weighted mean matrices. These results can be regarded as analogues to a result of \textit{G. Bennett} [Houston J. Math. 32, No.~3, 801--831 (2006; Zbl 1122.26017)] concerning weighted Carleman's inequalities.
