The author deals with the stability of the following conditional functional equation: \[ f(x)+f(y)=f(x+y),\qquad x,y,x+y\in U, \] where\(f: X\to Y,\;X,Y\) are normed spaces and \(U\subset X\) is nonempty. An equation is called hyperstable if all functions, which fulfil the equation with an error, are also solutions of the equation itself. Several hyperstability results are presented in connection with the above mentioned conditional Cauchy equation in this nicely written paper.
