Congruences to Ikeda-Miyawaki lifts and triple \(L\)-values of elliptic modular forms (Q2436767): Difference between revisions

The second author previously used the pullback theory of Eisenstein series to show the existence of a congruence of Siegel modular forms modulo special values of their \(L\)-functions [Math. Z. 259, No. 1, 97--111 (2008; Zbl 1173.11029)]. This paper applies the argument to the case when the modular form in question is the Ikeda-Miyawaki lift. Assuming Ikeda's conjecture on the inner product of Ikeda-Miyawaki lift, the authors show the existence of a distinct Siegel modular form that is congruent to the given Ikeda-Miyawaki lift, modulo certain special value of a triple product \(L\)-function. Some numerical examples are also given to support the existence of these congruence relations, which can also be considered as evidence for Ikeda's inner product conjecture.
