A general class of bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time-varying delays and impulses is studied. The existence of an exponential periodic attractor of periodic solutions of such networks is proved by the author. To do this, an inequality technique, the method of Lyapunov functional and the continuation theorem due to Mawhin and Gaines are applied. An example is provided in order to illustrate the obtained theoretical results.
