The paper deals with random walks in a random potential on a square lattice of arbitrary dimension, and it investigates the limiting free energy of the special class of models with Boltzmann-Gibbs type distributions in a random environment. Clearly the paper is focused on polymer in an i.i.d. random environment. The main results are related to the existence and the regularity of the quenched point-to-point free energy on the one hand, and the continuity in the i.d.d. case on the hand. Also are investigated quenched large deviation for the walk, and the entropy representation of the point-to-point free energy.
