A hypersurface \(M^{n-1}\) in \(\mathbb R^n\), \(S^n\) or \(H^n\) is Dupin if each principal curvature is constant along its corresponding line or surface of curvature. In the present paper a special class of Dupin hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb R^5\) parametrized by lines of curvature, with four distinct principal curvatures, is considered. A characterization of such hypersurfaces in terms of the principal curvatures and three vector valued functions of one variable is provided. It is proven that these functions describe plane curves. The Lie curvature of these hypersurfaces is not constant but some Möbius curvatures are constant along certain lines of curvature. Explicit examples of such Dupin hypersurfaces are given.
