The authors make use of the linking theorem and the mountain pass theorem to show the existence of nontrivial solutions for the nonlocal elliptic \(p\)-Kirchhoff equations without assuming Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type growth conditions. At least one nontrivial weak solution, in the space \(W_0^{1,p}(\Omega),\) is obtained. The weak solutions of the above mentioned problem are the critical points of an energy functional \( \Phi, \quad \Phi \in C^1(W_0^{1,p}(\Omega),\mathbb R)\), where \(\Omega \in \mathbb R^N \) is a bounded domain. After the main proofs the authors compare the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type growth conditions with that one supposed in the main Theorem; they observe that the last one is much weaker than the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type growth conditions. Useful examples enrich the paper.
