In the paper under review, the authors study the semicontinuity phenomenon for the automorphism groups as follows: when a sequence of bounded domains \(\Omega_j\) in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) converges to another domain \(\Omega_0\) in \(C^k\) topology, there should be an integer \(N\) such that, for every \(j>N\), there exists an injective Lie group homomorphism \(\psi_j:\text{Aut}(\Omega_j)\rightarrow \text{Aut}(\Omega_0)\). They obtain two semicontinuity results in the following settings: 1) \(\Omega_0\) is a bounded pseudoconvex domain in \(\mathbb{C}^2\) with \(C^\infty\) boundary and of finite type, and with \(\text{Aut}(\Omega_0)\) compact, and \(\{\Omega_j\}\) is a sequence of bounded pseudoconvex domains in \(\mathbb{C}^2\) converging to \(\Omega_0\) in \(C^\infty\)-topology. 2) \(\Omega_0\) and \(\Omega_j\)'s are bounded convex domains in \(\mathbb{C}^n\), \(n>1\), with \(C^1\) boundary and compact automorphism group. They prove both results using the scaling method, following the arguments developed by Berteloot for 1), and using the convergence theorem of Kim-Krantz for 2).
