In this compehensive paper the author presents the story for such principal series representations \(\sigma_{\alpha,\ell}\), \(\alpha\in\mathbb{C}\), of the double cover \(\text{Spin}^+(1, m)\) of \(\text{SO}^+(1, m)\) that are characterized by its fundamental spinor representations \(\ell\) realized on certain Clifford-valued or spinor-valued function spaces on the sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^m\). Spherical monogenics play a decisive role. The paper is organized as follows: 1. Introduction; 2. Clifford analysis; 3. Vahlen matrices and \(\text{Pin}(1,m+ 1)\); 4. Representations of \(\text{Pin}^+(1, m)\); 5. Spherical principal series representations of \(\text{SO}^+(1, m)\); 6. Some operators (Scasimir, Casimir, Hilbert, Riesz transform, RS-operator, twister operator); 7. Infinitesimal representations; 8. Action of the Lie algebra \(d\sigma_{0,\ell}(g)\) on \({\mathcal M}\); 9. Sobolev spaces on \(S^{m-1}\); 10. Intertwinors; 11. Irreducible unitary representations of \(\text{Spin}^+(1, m)\) (consequences of the irreducibility of the Harish-Chandra modules). The author shows that using hypercomplex analysis, special representation results of \(\text{SO}^+(1, m)\) can be extended to the spinor setting. The paper is very detailed written and good readable.
