For the modified two-component Camassa-Holm equation, other authors have previously shown local-in-time well-posedness in Sobolev spaces or in certain Besov spaces. In this work, the authors extend these results to show local-in-time well-posedness in \(B^{3/2}_{2,1}\times B^{3/2}_{2,1}\). Some of the main tools employed are certain interpolation inequalities and the Osgood Lemma.
