In the paper under review, the authors study the existence of multiple orthogonal geodesic chords in a Riemannian manifold \(\overline{\Omega}\) which is strongly concave and homeomorphic to the \(m\)-dimensional disk using a non-smooth version of the Lusternik-Schnirelman theory. Moreover, the authors obtain the existence of two distinct brake orbits for a class of Hamiltonian systems.
