The author investigates Jacobi spectral Galerkin methods for fractional integro-differential equations. The author first demonstrates the implementation of the spectral and pseudo-spectral Galerkin approaches for fractional-order integro-differential equation. A convergence analysis for both spectral and pseudo-spectral Jacobi-Galerkin methods is given. Numerical experiments are given to illustrate the theoretical results.
