In the article under review, the author defines the Bismut-Chern-Simons form as a transgression form of the Bismut-Chern character form. He shows that the Bismut-Chern-Simons form is additive and multiplicative with respect to the direct sum and the tensor product of connections, respectively. He also shows that the pullback of the Bismut-Chern-Simons form by the restriction to constant loops is the (ordinary) Chern-Simons form, the analog of the corresponding result relating the Bismut-Chern character form and the Chern character form. Finally, he constructs the odd Bismut-Chern character form.
