In this paper the authors introduce Verma modules over the Drinfeld double \(\mathcal D\) of the bosonization of a finite-dimensional Nichols algebra over a finite non-abelian group \(G\). They prove that a Verma module has simple head and simple socle. This provides two bijective correspondences between the set of simple modules over \(\mathcal D\) and the set of simple modules over the Drinfeld double of \(G\). A general strategy to compute the highest-weight submodules of a \(\mathcal D\)-module is given and then carried out to compute the simple modules in an example related to the symmetric group \(\mathbb S_3\).
