The purpose of this paper is to study the Boltzmann equation \[ \partial_tF+v\cdot\nabla_xF=B(F,F), \] where \(B(F,F)\) is a quadratic integral operator. An important definition is the global Maxwellian, a distribution, which satisfies the homogeneous form of (1). Several similar matrix formulas with this Maxwellian are given in the paper. The main theorem states that there exists a unique, mild solution of (1) for a certain global Maxwellian. The proofs use Gronvall inequality and Banach fixed point theorem.
