The authors compute the first Betti number of the Aomoto complex \(A_p^*(\mathcal A)\) of a complex reflection arrangement \(\mathcal A\), modulo a prime \(p\). This allows the computation of the multiplicities of the eigenvalues of order \(p^s\), for any \(s \geq 1\), for the Milnor fiber monodromy acting on the first cohomology group for such complex hyperplane arrangements. This is done via the so-called modular inequalities, which turn out to be equalities in these cases.
