Asymmetric simple exclusion process with open boundaries and Koornwinder polynomials (Q529594): Difference between revisions

The paper analyzes the steady state of a class of asymmetric simple exclusion processes which contains second-class particles picturing mobile impurities (referred to as 2ASEP). The method of analysis consists of using a deformation process via the introduction of spectral parameters. In this way, one obtains the probabilities of the configuration in terms of Laurent polynomials and Koornwinder polynomials.
