The classical property of Effros says of a metric space \(X\) that for any \(\varepsilon >0\) there is a \(\delta >0\) such that if two points of \(X\) are \(\delta\)-close, then there is an \(\varepsilon\)-homeomorphism on \(X\) taking one point to the other. In [Topology Appl. 226, 51--65 (2017; Zbl 1373.54018)] the present author began the study of this property in the uniform context; in this paper he extends a well known result for metric spaces and proves that any connected uniform space with the property of Effros is homogeneous. The author goes on to prove generalizations -- to Hausdorff continua -- of certain theorems concerned with decompositions of metric continua with the property of Effros; in particular, the Aposyndetic Decomposition Theorem of F. B. Jones and the Mutual Aposyndetic Decomposition Theorem of J. Prajs are both extended. The continuity of Jones' set functions \(\mathcal T\) and \(\mathcal K\) is also examined. (Recall that \(x\in\mathcal T_X(A)\) precisely when every subcontinuum of \(X\) containing \(x\) in its interior intersects \(A\), and that \(x\in\mathcal K_X(A)\) whenever \(x\) belongs to every subcontinuum of \(X\) containing \(A\) in its interior.) The author proves that if a continuum \(X\) has the uniform property of Effros, then \(\mathcal T_X\) is continuous if and only if either: (1) \(X\) is indecomposable; (2) \(X\) is locally connected; or (3) \(X\) is not aposyndetic and \(X/\mathcal G\) is locally connected, where \(\mathcal G=\{\mathcal T_X(\{x\}): x\in X\}\). Finally the author answers positively a question of D. Bellamy (Question 149 in [\textit{W. Lewis}, Topol. Proc. 8, No. 2, 361--394 (1983; Zbl 0544.54001)]) by showing that if \(X\) is a continuum and \(\mathcal T_X\) is continuous, then \(\mathcal K_X\) is also continuous.
