This paper gives a detailed study on the space of Bridgeland stability conditions on the projective plane \(\mathbb{P}^2\). In this case we have two methods to construct stability conditions. One is based on the classical Gieseker stability on \(\mathbb{P}^2\), and on the \({\widetilde{\mathrm{GL}}}^+(2,\mathbb{R})\)-action on the space of stability conditions. The obtained stability conditions are the so-called geometric one. This construction is reviewed in \S1.2 and \S1.3. The other is based on the exceptional triple, or the full strong exceptional collection, of \(D^b(\mathbb{P}^2)\), and the obtained stability conditions are called algebraic one in this paper. This construction is reviewed in \S2.1. The main result is Theorem 3.9, saying that the distinguished connected component \(\mathrm{Stab}^{\dagger}(P^2)\). is the union of geometric and algebraic stability conditions. The proof is given in \S3, based mainly on the analysis of boundaries of geometric and algebraic components. One of the key statements is Corollary 3.5, which gives a decomposition of the union into the geometric component, the cells coming from exceptional sheaves and the cells from exceptional triples.
