$L_1$ spline fits via sliding window process: continuous and discrete cases (Q1646667): Difference between revisions

In this paper the authors study the existence of $L_1$ spline fits which are very efficient at approximating data with abrupt changes but are computationally time-consuming. Several examples are given.
