In this paper the authors introduce a generalized notion of Laplace operator that covers, among others, the so called Laplace-Dunkl operator. As an expansion of the classical notion of angular momentum, symmetry operators commuting with the Laplace-like operators are analyzed, providing explicit algebraic relations, from which a generalized Dirac operator is inferred. Taking into account the degree, operators either commuting or anticommutingwith the generalized Dirac operators are inspected. The resulting algebra generated by these symmetries is a quite natural generalization of the standard angular momentum algebra, and exhibits also a deep relation with the higher-rank Bannai-Ito algebras. The results of the paper open new approaches to various problems, like Wigner quantum systems, superintegrability of Hamiltonian systems or its relation with the representation theory of orthosymplectic Lie superalgebras.
