This paper investigates the classical limits of quantum states of a particle moving in an external Yang-Mills gauge field. First, the authors review the mathematical model for the theory of a particle moving in an external Yang-Mills field and for the theory of strict deformation. Then, they etablish the existence of an algebraic reduction procedure. They also prove that the quantization maps commute with their reduction procedure. Finally, they show that the kinematical algebra of physical quantities can be obtained by restricting attention to symmetry-invariant states. They also prove that symmetry-invariant quantum states correspond to symmetry-invariant classical states in the classical limit.
