The purpose of this paper is to present some sufficient conditions for a strong metric subregularity property of the optimality mapping associated with the Pontryagin local maximum principle for a Mayer's type optimal control problem with general initial/terminal constraints for the state variable and unconstrained control. With the strong metric subregularity property the authors also consider the basic assumptions: smoothness, constraint qualification, and strong second order sufficient optimality conditions.
