Let \(\overline{X}^{n+1}\) be an \((n+1)\)-dimensional compact manifold with boundary \(M^n\) and its interior is denoted by \(X\). We say that \(g^+\) is conformally compact metric on \(X\) if there exists a defining function \(\rho\) (a positive function on \(X\) vanishing on \(M^n\) and \(d\rho\neq 0\) on \(M^n\)) such that \(\overline{g}=\rho^2g^+\) is a smooth compact metric on \(\overline{X}^{n+1}\). Let \(\hat{h}=\overline{g}_{\restriction_{M^n}}\) and \(P_\gamma[g^+,\hat{h}]\) be the conformally covariant fractional powers of the Laplacian defined by \(P_\gamma[g^+,\hat{h}]=2^{2\gamma}\frac{\Gamma(\gamma)}{\Gamma(-\gamma)}S\left(\frac{n}{2}+\gamma\right)\) such that \(\gamma\in\left(0,\frac{n}{2}\right)\setminus\mathbb N\) and \(S\left(\frac{n}{2}+\gamma\right)\) represents the scattering operator on \(M^n\) and \(\Gamma\) is the classical gamma function. The author concentrates on providing sufficient conditions for having a positive solution on \((M^n,\hat{h})\) of \(P_\gamma[g^+,\hat{h}]u=fu^{\frac{n+2\gamma}{n-2\gamma}}\) such that \(f\) is a smooth function on \(M^n\).
