In this paper the authors study the following double phase problem \begin{align*} \begin{cases} -\text{div}\left(a(z)|Du|^{p-2}Du\right)-\Delta u=f(z,u)& \text{in }\Omega,\\ u=0& \text{on }\partial\Omega, \end{cases} \end{align*} where \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^N\) is a bounded domain with a \(C^2\)-boundary \(\partial\Omega\), \(p>2\), \(\frac{p}{2}<1+\frac{1}{N}\), \(0<a(\cdot)\in C^{0,1}(\overline{\Omega})\) with \(a(\cdot)\) belonging to the \(p\)-Muckenhoupt class and the reaction is resonant with respect to the first eigenvalue of a related eigenvalue problem. Based on variational tools and Morse theoretic arguments, the authors prove the existence of at least two bounded nontrivial solutions for the problem above.
