Para-Kähler-Einstein \(4\)-manifolds and non-integrable twistor distributions (Q2071815): Difference between revisions

This paper studies 4-manifolds with para-Kähler-Einstein metrics, which are pseudo-Riemannian metrics that come equipped with a twistor distribution on the bundle of self-dual null 2-planes. The main result is a correspondence between the anti-self dual Weyl tensor of such metrics with nonzero scalar curvature and the Cartan quartic of the associated twistor distribution. Using this correspondence, a large class of examples of twistor distributions is produced.
