In this paper, the authors solved a remaining problem in [\textit{X. Ma} et al., Discrete Appl. Math. 215, 171--176 (2016; Zbl 1346.05144)], that is, they characterized all connected graphs \(G\) of nullity \(2c(G)+p(G)-1\) with \(p(G)>0\). The method used here is interesting.
