Summary: We study the behavior of Fourier integrals summed by the symbols of elliptic operators and pointwise convergence of Fourier inversion. We consider generalized localization principle which in classical \(L_p\) spaces was investigated by \textit{P. Sjölin} [Monatsh. Math. 96, 277-291 (1983; Zbl 0519.42018)], \textit{A. Carbery} and \textit{F. Soria} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 4, No.2, 319--337 (1988; Zbl 0692.42001)] [J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 3, Spec. Iss., 847--858 (1997; Zbl 0896.42007)] and \textit{Sh. A. Alimov} [Russ. Acad. Sci., Dokl., Math 48, No.1, 175--177 (1994); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 331, No.6, 661--662 (1993; Zbl 0816.35016)]. Proceeding these studies, we establish sharp conditions for generalized localization in the class of finitely supported distributions.
