An S-Plus function \texttt{corr} is described which performs the correspondence analysis of two- and three-way tables based on singular value decomposition. \texttt{corr} allows users to perform the analysis using the indicator matrix (i.e., the raw data) or the Burt matrix, to construct confidence circles and analyse proximity data. Applications to sociological and geographic data are presented.
