Krengel--Lin decomposition for probability measures on hypergroups. (Q1408448): Difference between revisions

In this paper the author gives a necessary and sufficient condition for a probability measure on a hypergroup to have a Krengel-Lin decomposition. The author also applies the result to probability measures on Tortrat groups, on commutative hypergroups and on central hypergroups. The paper ends with an example showing that a Krengel-Lin decomposition does not hold for certain measures on discrete hypergroups.
