This paper tabulates [Figure 6] and distinguishes by application of a generalization of the Kauffman bracket polynomial [Table 1] all 27 of the possibly prime links of complexity not exceeding 4 in the thickened torus (without proving them prime), providing also their isometric signatures (describing triangulations of their complements) and approximate hyperbolic volumes [Table 3]. While the authors mention ``the Kauffman polynomial'' on pages S12, S13 and S21, citing Kauffman's 1987 Topology paper [\textit{L. H. Kauffman}, Topology 26, 395--407 (1987; Zbl 0622.57004)] and joint work with Dye in 2005 [\textit{H. A. Dye} and \textit{L. H. Kauffman}, Algebr. Geom. Topol. 5, 509--535 (2005; Zbl 1083.57007)], this should be referred to as the Kauffman bracket polynomial. The Kauffman polynomial is the two variable skein polynomial of [\textit{L. H. Kauffman}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 318, No. 2, 417--471 (1990; Zbl 0763.57004)].
