    It is proved that every locally convex, affine complete, hyperbolic affine hypersphere is Euclidean complete. With ``locally convex'' replaced by ``(globally) convex'', this result was proved earlier by the same author [Math. Z. 203, 483-491 (1990; Zbl 0696.53004)].
