The authors present a different, but equivalent approach to the notion, in noncommutative analysis, of the operator-valued Hardy spaces considered by \textit{T. Mei} [Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 881 (2007; Zbl 1138.46038)], who used Littlewood-Paley square functions, while the authors in the present paper consider Hardy spaces defined via the wavelet method. The duality with the corresponding BMO space and the interpolation between these spaces are presented, extending the classical result to the noncommutative setting. As a consequence, the authors also present an explicit complete unconditional basis of the Hardy space \(H^1(\mathbb R)\) whenever it is equipped with an appropriate operator space structure.
