In this paper, the authors show that Weyl modules for a current Lie algebra of finite type ADE are rigid, and investigate on coincidences of the gradings of Weyl modules arising from different areas by using the results on rigidity for Weyl modules. Let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be a simple Lie algebra of finite type ADE and \(W(\lambda)\) a Weyl module over \(U(\mathfrak{g}[z])\). It is known that \(W(\lambda)\) is isomorphic to the Demazure module \(L_w(\Lambda)\) for some dominant integral weight \(\Lambda\) and a Weyl group element \(w\). It also has a geometric realization of quiver varieties. Thus, the modules \(W(\lambda)\) have 3 kinds of gradings which arise from (i) the parameter \(z\), (ii) the degree operator \(d\) corresponding to the imaginary root \(\delta\), (iii) the geometric structure. The authors study on coincidences of these gradings by investigating the rigidity for Weyl modules, and provide a formula for the Poincaré polynomials of quiver varieties of type ADE in terms of energy functions.
