The spectrum for 2-perfect \(m\)-cycle systems of \(K_ n\) has been considered by several authors in the case \(m\leq 7\); see, for example, \textit{C. C. Lindner}, \textit{K. T. Phelps} and \textit{C. A. Rodger} [The spectrum for 2-perfect 6-cycle systems, J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 57, No. 1, 76-85 (1991; Zbl 0758.05015)]. In the present paper the authors essentially solve the problem in the case where \(m\) is prime and \(2m+1\) is a prime power. In particular, they settle the problem for \(m=11\) and \(m=13\), except for two and one possible exceptions, respectively. They also consider the problem for \(m=9\).
