The author constructs induced corepresentations of locally compact quantum groups. He proves that the resulting induced corepresentations are unitary, provided that a certain integrability condition is satisfied. The known bijective correspondence between quasi-invariant measures and certain measures on the larger locally compact group is correspondingly generalized to the situation of quantum groups. Instead of working within a \(C^*\)-algebraic setting, the authors focus on a von~Neumann algebraic setting.
