The aim of this paper is to develop an algorithm to determine, using MAGMA, the special values of certain \(L\)-functions of CM elliptic curves, and deduce from the conjectural Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer formula the order of the Tate-Shafarevich group. The class of elliptic curves considered is the following. Let \(q\) be a prime number which is congruent to 3 modulo 4 and define the quadratic imaginary field \(K=\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{-q})\). The family of elliptic curves considered in this paper are the \(K\)-twists of the Gross curve \(A(q)\), explicitly described by the equation: \[ E:y^2=x^3-2^{-4}3^{-1}(j(\mathcal{O}_K)^{1/3}x+2^{-5}3^{-2}(j(\mathcal{O}_K)-12^3)^{1/2}, \] where \((j(\mathcal{O}_K)^{1/3}\) is the real cubic root of \(j(\mathcal{O}_K)\) and \((j(\mathcal{O}_K)-12^3)^{1/2}\) is the complex quadratic root of \(j(\mathcal{O}_K)-12^3\) having positive imaginary part. Thus \(E\) is defined over the Hilbert class field \(H\) of \(K\). The authors develop an algorithm to determine the value of \(L(E/H,1)\), which are known to be non-zero, and conjecturally determine the values of the Tate-Shafarevich group of \(E\) over \(H\). The ranges for \(q\) explicitly determined in the paper are \(q=1,\dots,4663\) for \(q\equiv 7\pmod{8}\) and \(q=1,\dots,11131\) for \(q\equiv 3\pmod{8}\).
