Let \(A\) be an elementary Abelian \(q\)-group of rank at least 3 acting on a finite \(q'\)-group \(G\). The authors restrict the structure of \([G,G]\) in terms of exponent, order, rank or number of generators of \([C_G(a),C_G(a)]\) for all non-trivial \(a\in A\). A typical result: Let \(m\) be an integer, \(q\) a prime. Let \(G\) be a finite \(q'\)-group acted on by an elementary Abelian group \(A\) of order \(q^3\). Assume that the order of the commutator subgroup of \(C_G(a)\) is at most \(m\) for every non-trivial \(a\in A\). Then the order of \([G,G]\) is bounded from above by a function depending only on \(m\) and \(q\).
