Consider the first order ordinary differential system \[ -iB^{-1}y^{\prime}\left( x\right) +Q(x)y(x)=\lambda y(x)\quad \text{for }x\in[0,\;1], \] where \(y^{T}=\left( y_{1},\;y_{2},\dots,y_{n}\right)\), \(B\) is a constant matrix, and \(Q\in L_{\left( 0,1\right) }\otimes\mathbb{C}^{n\times n}\). Using the fundamental matrix it is shown that \(Q\) is uniquely determined by the monodromy matrix.
