The authors study the existence and multiplicity of solutions for some damped Dirichlet nonlinear impulsive differential equations. They obtain some new criteria to guarantee the existence of one or infinitely many solutions for impulsive differential equations if the nonlinear term is sublinear, superlinear or asymptotically linear. Their proofs are based on critical point theory. Some recent results are extended and improved.
