The authors use the concept of a strong summation process that means a matrix summability method, which includes both the convergence and almost convergence and gaie a Korovkin type approximation theorem of a function \(f\in L_p[a, b]\) by means of a sequence of positive linear operators acting from \(L_p[a, b]\) into itself. They also study some quantitative estimates for \(L_p\) approximation and give the rate of convergence of these operators.
