The paper deals with the nonlinear Schrödinger system \[ \begin{cases} -\Delta u_i=\mu_iu^3_i+\beta u_i \sum_{j=1, j\neq i}^m u_j^2 +\lambda_iu_i,\quad i=1,\ldots,m,\\ u_1,\ldots,u_m\in H^1_0(\Omega) \end{cases} \] over a bounded domain \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^4.\) In the competitive case (\(\beta\to-\infty\) or \(\beta>0\) fixed) or in the weakly cooperative case (\(\beta\geq0\) is small), and under suitable assumptions on the Robin function associated to \(\Omega,\) the authors construct families of positive solutions which blowup and concentrate at different points as \(\lambda_1,\ldots,\lambda_m\to0\).
