The authors start with the integral-functional equation \[ x(t)= \alpha(t)x(t-\beta)+ \int^t_{-\infty} a(t,t-s) f(s,x(s))\,ds+ h(t,x(t)), \] with \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(a\), \(f\) and \(h\) satisfying a set of technical conditions. The main result is a fixed point theorem in a cone, for operators depending of three variables, namely \(A(x,y,z)= B(x,y,z)+ D(x)\). The fixed point satisfies the equation \(w= A(w,w,w)\), for special choice of the underlying space (pseudo almost periodic functions with values in a real Banach space \(X\)), and operators \(B\), \(D\). An existence result is obtained in this space, for a special form of the function \(f(t,x)\) appaering in the integral-functional equation.
