The authors show how to extend the study of hydrodynamic limits through the one- and two-block estimates method due to \textit{M. Z. Guo} et al. [Commun. Math. Phys. 118, No. 1, 31--59 (1988; Zbl 0652.60107)] to the study of interacting particle systems on crystal lattices, i.e., infinite graphs admitting a free action of a free abelian group \(\Gamma\) with a finite quotient graph. Compared to the case of the simple homogeneous \(\mathbb Z^d\)-lattice, the study of inhomogeneous ones, such as the Kagome lattice, requires the introduction of two different types of local averages, namely, averages over rescaled fundamental domains, as opposed to local averages along \(\Gamma\)-orbits. The authors apply their method to the proof of convergence of weakly asymmetric simple exclusion, shown originally by \textit{C. Kipnis} et al. [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 42, No. 2, 115--137 (1989; Zbl 0644.76001)] for the square lattice to a non-linear parabolic equation with a drift term (see Equation 3.1 in the paper). The diffusion matrix, which depends on the choice of a harmonic embedding of the crystal lattice into the Euclidean space, is computed explicitly.
