Let \(\mathbb{C} H^n\) be the complex hyperbolic space and \(\partial \mathbb{C} H^n\) its boundary with the natural action of the projective pseudo-unitary group \(PU(1,n)\). The authors describe the moduli space \(\mathcal{M}\) of quadruples in \(\partial \mathbb{C}H^n\), that is, the space of ordered quadruples defined up to a transformation from \(PU(1,n)\). Using the complex cross-ratio \(X(p_1,p_2,p_3,p_4) \) of four points \(p_i, \, i= 1,2,3,4\) and the Cartan invariant, they construct an injective map \[ \tau : \mathcal{M} \to \mathbb{C}^2 \times \mathbb{R} \] and describe its image by an equation and inequalities. The space \(\partial \mathbb{C} H^n\) is identified with the projectivization \(PV_0\) of the cone \(V_0\) of isotropic vectors in the pseudo-Hermitian vector space \(V\) of signature \((1,n)\) and the cross-ratio of four points \(p_i\) is defined in terms of the scalar product between their lift to \(V_0\).
