This paper is devoted to understanding the approach to supermanifolds via the local functor of points, which associates to each smooth supermanifold \(M\) the set \(M_{A}\) of its \(A\)-points for all super-Weil algebras \(A\). This approach is a slight modification of the one in [\textit{A. S. Shvarts}, Theor. Math. Phys. 60, 657--660 (1984); translation from Teor. Mat. Fiz. 60, No.~1, 37--42 (1984; Zbl 0575.58005) and \textit{A. A. Voronov}, Teor. Mat. Fiz. 60, No.~1, 43--48 (1984; Zbl 0569.58005)]. The main difference is that Shvarts and Voronov considered Grassmann algebras in place of super-Weil algebras. The principal result in this paper is a type of Yoneda's lemma establishing a bijective correspondence between supermanifold morphisms and natural transformations between the functors of \(A\)-points, so that supermanifolds embed in a full and faithful way into the category of Weil-Berezin functors. Some aspects of superdifferential calculus on supermanifolds in terms of Weil-Berezin functors, and the Weil transitivity theorem are established.
