The following two results are presented: Theorem 1. Let \((M,\alpha)\) be an open contact manifold and \((N,F_N)\) a foliated manifold. If the codimension of \(F_N\) is even and is strictly less than the dimension of \(M\), then \[\pi \circ d: Tr_{\alpha}(M,F_n)\to \varepsilon_\alpha(TM,\nu F_N)\] is a weak homotopy equivalence. Theorem 2. The integrable homotopy classes of codimension-\(2g\) contact foliations on \(M\) subordinate to \(\alpha\) are in one-to-one correspondence with the homotopy classes of bundle endomorphisms \((F,f): TM\to\nu\Omega_{2_q}\) for which \(\operatorname{Ker}F\cap \operatorname{Ker}\alpha\) is a symplectic subbundle of \(\xi\). The first result is an analogue of the Phillips' theorem on homotopy classification of transversal maps to foliations; the second theorem is an analogue of Haefliger's classification of foliations on open manifolds.
