The authors study a reaction-diffusion system with the production by reaction term given by the structure of the Belousov-Zhabotinskii chemical reaction. They give rigorous arguments justifying the travelling plannar V-shaped fronts discovered earlier by Brazhnik, Tyson and Pérez-Muñuzuri together with collaborators (see the references of the paper).
