This article studies (appropriately defined) finite Blaschke products over Hamilton's algebra \(\mathbb{H}\) of real quaternions. The first three sections of the article revise preliminary material and construct finite Blaschke products. Stable unitary realizations are provided for all such products. The fourth section studies the possibility to prescribe the zero set of a finite Blaschke product. For every quaternionic polynomial \(p(z)\), it constructs a quaternionic power series \(R(z)\) such that the product \(p(z)R(z)\) is a finite Blaschke product. The final section characterizes finite Blaschke products in some alternate fashions: in terms of the Hardy space \(H^2(\mathbb{B})\) on the quaternionic unit ball \(\mathbb{B}\) and in terms of the associated Toeplitz matrix. For finite Blaschke products \(G\) of degree \(n\), it is possible to prescribe the first \(n+1\) coefficients of the power-series representation of \(G\). Considerable effort has been spent to construct finite Blaschke products and to study their basic properties without taking full advantage of the theory described in the cited monograph [\textit{G. Gentili} et al., Regular functions of a quaternionic variable. Berlin: Springer (2013; Zbl 1269.30001)] and in references therein. A missing citation that is particularly relevant is [\textit{C. de Fabritiis} et al., Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa, Cl. Sci. (5) 18, No. 2, 697--733 (2018; Zbl 1407.30025)], previously available as [\url{arXiv:1404.1234}].
